I’ve taken this flight eight times over the last two years, and it’s gotten easier, but I still always cling to the final glimpses of an overcast sky before departure.

Sometimes I think about how much more straightforward my life would be if my home was in a sunny place and school was in a rainy place. Maybe then I wouldn’t be semi-permanently meteorologically and emotionally confused.
